Tanya comes to Child Advocates of Placer County with extensive life experiences with the child welfare system, both as a parent who has lived experience with Placer County Child Protective Services and as a Family Support Coordinator for Sierra Native Alliance. In her six years at Sierra Native Alliance, her duties included Family advocacy, case management, facilitation of child & family team meetings, communication with CPS workers, facilitation of outpatient classes, data entry, and was an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) counselor.
Tanya is excited to start this new journey in her life and have the chance to give back to the community that helped her in her time of need.
